MERCY & JUSTICE
We believe that God calls His people to advocate for the dignity and eternal worth of all persons as His image bearers. We believe that loving mercy and acting justly is a mandate for all of God’s people and the fruit of genuine faith. We believe the people of the Kingdom of God are called to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke, to share food with the hungry, to provide the poor wanderer with shelter and clothe the naked.
We believe that God calls His people to advocate for the dignity and eternal worth of all persons as His image bearers. We believe in the sanctity of life and that from conception an unborn baby is a person and that it is wrong to intentionally take the life of an unborn baby through abortion. We also believe that God calls us to minister with compassion and be part of the healing process for those who have been impacted by abortion. (Gen. 1:26-27; Isaiah 58; Jer. 4; Micah 6:1-8; Proverbs 31:8-9; Psalm 68:5, 139; James 2:14; 1 John 3:17-18)
Summer Serve Opportunity
This summer we will partner with Small Things to help provide food to those in need in the Philadelphia region. Over ten Saturdays we will pack 5,000 boxes of food which will be turned into 83,000 meals for families in need in our community. We got off to a great start last week (see picture below) packing 529 boxes in two hours!

Choose how you want to participate. You'll see that Victory is meeting up early at Westminster to have breakfast and prayer prior to driving down together. Feel free to join us or meet us at the warehouse at 10am.
Schedule Note. Small Things warehouse is closed this Saturday (June 26th). The following Saturday (July 3rd) they will only have a 8am-10am shift. All other Saturdays will be the normal schedule laid out in the image below.

We are a part of the Liberti Network communion of churches who seeks to live, speak, and serve as the very presence of Jesus in the Philadelphia region. “Liberti” is the Latin word for the “freed people” in ancient society who were formerly in bondage but were now free because their ransom had been paid. The name “Liberti” has both a gospel connection because Jesus brings real freedom to us and to this broken world, and it also connects us to the history of the Philadelphia region that we love.
